Money and Investing Blogs are like TV channels.
–There’s a ton of junk, but also more than you could view of the good stuff.
- NPR’s Lifekit: Secrets of Savings and Investing – This is a weird presentation of financial information. By weird I mean: they actually tell you the right stuff, they don’t make money off giving you bad advice, and they are short, clear, and to the point. None of these things is normal.
- Rick Ferri’s Investing Blog – Focused on minimizing invest costs to maximize investor returns. Focuses on index funds and index ATFs, keeps up with current research. Carries on the grand tradition of Jack Bogle (“Saint Jack”).
- Jack Bogle’s eBlog – Bogle is a pivotal figure in investing, inaugurating the index fund movement that has given so many a chance to benefit from the stock market. He has one core message that he presents winningly, own the whole market and keep your costs down.
- Mr. Money Mustache Blog – Occasionally vulgar, but very good at asking and working through questions related to money and practicality.
- Cold Fusion Guy’s Blog – About half the posts are on money or investing topics, such as how ETF’s work. If his moral or political posts bother you, instead be glad that there are people who can articulate reasons for their beliefs instead of the popular “meme and scream”.
